Do you test lowfi designs? How about testing folks around you? Friends, family, siblings and so on? When designing use any and all those near you. The more the merrier, right? I’m not sure if this practice has made it’s way into your common processes or concept phase? How about logo design, do you test your designs with others before you make that final recommendation?
All these questions tend to happen somewhere between the pencil touching the page and the brain. Perhaps it may take longer for some folks. I like to answer these types of questions before I begin my lowfi design work.
The purpose of addressing these questions is to offer another way or provide a tool to capture your ideas and put them to use. Then test it. It’s important to communicate the reasons for your concepts and theories.
